2 ways to set up
1.The most simple and fastest way, For WPS compatible routers, simply press the wps button on router and extender, it will set up automatically and extend your wifi.
2.On the other hand, if there is no WPS button on your router, set up by your phone or computer device with the following steps:
Please make sure the router has turned on and the internet is on.
Plug wifi extender into an outlet which has proper distance from router, recommend within 20 feet
Use your phone to search the wifi list and connect to extender’s wifi “WIFI 2.4G pro_146740 “ or “WIFI 5G pro_146740 “. It should be an open network.
When first time connect the extender, the management interface should pop up automatically. There are “Repeater Mode Settings” and “AP Mode Settings” to choose, choose “Repeater Mode” and click next, wait like 5 second, Scan and select the WIFI network you hope to extend. Type the password of your main router and click “NEXT”, click “finish”.
Go back to the WIFI list and choose “router name-2.4G-ext” or “router name-5G-ext” to connect.
Type same password with the main router to connect and access to the network.Finished, you can go online.
How to confirm whether the wifi extender has configured successfully?
when the second and third signal light turn to solid green, it meas the connection has been done.
Still no connection from the new network?
Check the Extension LED light, if the light is not green, there is signal strength issue, please adjust the distance between router and extender.
How come the speed is still slow while with strong signal?
To achieve the best using experience, We suggest placing the extender about halfway between your router and the WiFi dead zone.
How to reset?
Reset will solve most issues, there is reset button on the side of the extender, use the pin which attached in the package insert in the button, (Please note that there cannot be any wire connection.
