The Cold Shoe Extension letsyou position the recording device in the center of the light ring for the best results, as the Light Ring design flatters your subject with shadow free wrap around illumination. The modular extension has two sections: A 2" post with a removable ¼"x20 screw down cold shoe lock and a mini ball head that fits atop the post or accepts the cold shoe foot.
