The DoubleMic-DI features two cardioid condenser microphone capsules, which record highly-directional audio from the front and rear of the microphone, while blocking sounds from the center. This dual capsule design makes the DoubleMic-DI an ideal phone microphone for recording podcasts, interviews, on-the-go vlogs, and more.

The microphone features onboard controls that allow you to adjust your audio settings easily. A gain switch toggles between -5dB/0dB/+5dB, allowing you to find the perfect recording level for any source. You can also select which side of the mic you record, either isolating the front or rear microphone capsule or capturing both as isolated tracks in a stereo signal.
